My Daughter Says The Cutest Things
Posted Sunday, April 19, 2009 9:18:33 PMA little while later she wanted in her crib to play. So I put her in and she started entertaining herself. I laid down next to the crib and was talking to her when she stood up, wraped her blanket around her, and said "I'm little red riding hood!" I laughed and took a picture of her. Then a few minutes later she did it again, but this time she said, "Now..... I'm hungry red riding hood." Again, I laughed, and asked her if she was hungry, and she said she was. So, off to the kitchen we went.
In the kitchen I offered Lilli a million different things to eat, but she didn't want any of them. I asked her what she did want and she said, "I want Mother Bear's homemade pie." For those of you unfamiliar with 'Mother Bear's homemade pie', it is from the TV show Little Bear; Mother Bear always makes homemade pie for everyone.
I tried to explain to her that we don't have any of Mother Bear's homemade pie, and she said, "I'm had" (she can't say her 'S's very well, so 'sad' comes out 'had'). I asked her why and she said "I really wanted Mother Bear's homemade pie." I asked her if she wanted me to fix some, and she said "yea." So... I got a little bowl out and put several of her blueberry muffin's into the bottom of it. I put it into the oven for a few minutes (the over wasn't on), and then pulled it out. I showed it to her and asked her if it looked done, she said "Yea!! It looks good!" I then gave her a fork and she ate 'Mother Bear's homemade pie'.
So, yeah, my daughter says the cutest things.
