Going Tankless: My New Hot Water Heater
Posted Wednesday, January 21, 2009 8:46:16 AMLast night I mounted my new water heater to prepare for the plumbers who are coming today at 1 to run the water lines and wire it. You can see how much space we are going to save by converting to a tankless system. We're going from a traditional 40 gallon tank, to a 21" x 14" box that hangs on our wall.
To mount it I had to take the cover off of the unit, so I took the opportunity to photograph the inside of it.
I'll write another post tonight or tomorrow once it is hooked up and review how well it works, whether it gives enough water, etc. I'll also post pictures of the utility room without the water tank.

Lol, very very true. I can only hope that is the case. I'll let you know how it goes.

Yeah, but I'm sure you'll be fine. You might be surprised - you got the 2nd to highest one. It might be more than you can ever imagine LOL

Yea, it will be nice. I just hope it puts out as much water as it claims. I'm expecting 3.5 gallons a minute or so at the temperature I have it set to... hope I'm not disappointed.
